International Relations Working Paper Series Launches

| August 29, 2012

Faculty members at Webster University’s Vienna campus have spearheaded the launch of the International Relations Working Paper (IRWP) Series.

The IRWP Series is co-edited by Vienna international relations head Samuel Schubert and research professor Johannes Pollak.

Working papers are similar to scholarly journals in that the paper selection process follows a double-blind, peer-reviewed standard. One major difference, however, is that papers are published as they are accepted, without being part of an issue.

Full-time and adjunct international relations faculty members are encouraged to submit their work to the IRWP series. View the IRWP website for more information.

David Carl Wilson, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, is chair of the IRWP editorial board.

“The International Relations Working Paper Series is an important step forward in advancing the research reputation of Webster University and building on the strengths we have in international relations,” Wilson said.

“Pioneered by the Harvard Business School Working Papers, the working papers concept capitalizes on current technology to disseminate research findings around the world. That makes it a perfect fit for our global University.”
