Snapshots: Water Bottles to Welcome Evening Students

| August 23, 2012

At the home campus this week, evening students picked up BPA-free water bottles in the East Academic Building, Webster Hall and Sverdrup buildings.

Come for the bottle, stay for the world-class education.

Webster University campus locations across the U.S., Europe and Asia have been welcoming new and returning students as the new Fall semester gets underway.

Small gestures to say “We’re glad you’re here” involve anything from muffins and coffee in Leiden to receptions with food before the first classes at Fort Leavenworth and McConnell Air Force Base.

In St. Louis, a “Welcome Back BBQ” is being held on the home campus Thursday, Aug. 23, for students, faculty and staff.

The previous night, President Beth Stroble handed out Webster BPA-free water bottles to new and returning evening students — part of an initiative to welcome evening students all throughout the week.

Students can still pick up bottles Thursday between 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the East Academic Building, Webster Hall and Sverdrup building.
