Sept. 7 Reflective Teaching Community: Effective Questioning

| August 23, 2012

With the new academic year getting into full swing, we are excited to begin a new series of meetings of the Reflective Teaching Community. For those who aren’t familiar with the group, the Reflective Teaching Community is made up of faculty from all disciplines who get together to share and discuss their approaches and experiences with teaching and learning at the University.

The topics are wide-ranging, running the gamut of conducting formative assessments to increasing student participation to dealing with texting in the classroom.

Join us for our first meeting on Friday, Sept. 7, at 12 p.m. at the Faculty Development Center (Emerson Library, room 420) where the initial topic will be Effective Questioning.

Snacks and drinks will be on hand. We hope to see you there!
