Summer TAP Program at Webster University

| July 25, 2012

This summer the Transitions program, an academic support program housed in the Academic Resource Center, will host the summer TAP program. The TAP (Transitions Academic Prep) Program is an exciting week long non-credit academic success program.

During the week of July 30 – Aug. 3, incoming Transitions students at Webster University will experience an intense introduction to campus life. The program will serve approximately 20 new students and will be held primarily in the new East Academic Building.

The program includes two academic seminars focused on critical reading and writing. In addition, students will attend small group collaborative learning sessions that cover a variety of study skills and active learning strategies. Students will also be introduced to important campus resources, and social activities are planned to help students build relationships with others in the program.

President Beth Stroble will kick off the TAP program with an opening welcome to the new students on July 30.
