Faculty Workshop: Sustainability in the Curriculum and the Classroom

| July 17, 2012

Webster University faculty and their local colleagues have an excellent opportunity to workshop on incorporating sustainability in their curriculum and classroom through an event hosted at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

Modeled after the Ponderosa Project at Northern Arizona University and the Piedmont Project at Emory University, this all-day workshop for area university faculty will explore how we can meaningfully integrate sustainability—broadly defined—into our classrooms.

If you are interested in participating, submit a one-page description of how you plan to change an old course, develop a new course, or add a new module to Connie Frey Spurlock at cfrey@siue.edu prior to the workshop and register for the free workshop online.

The event includes lunch and a copy of Ecological Literacy by David Orr.
