Webster's campus in Ft. Bliss, Texas

Webster University’s campus at Fort Bliss, Texas, held their 2012 Commencement Ceremony June 16, with 92 graduates walking from the class of 147. Associate vice president Carol Adams  attended the ceremony, which marks the 35th anniversary for the Fort Bliss campus.

The Commencement speaker was William Lockridge, a 32-year faculty member who was there when Fort Bliss first opened its doors. His nostalgic message was warmly received by the graduates, who gave him a standing ovation at the end of his address. The ceremony was attended by more than 1,000 guests and graduates — the largest graduation attendance to date.

The graduation dinner held Friday night, June 15, celebrated five new Delta Mu Delta inductees and one honorary inductee. There were 12 honor graduates out of the 147 total graduates, with four individuals earning 4.0 GPA at the culmination of their studies.
