Webster’s campus in Myrtle Beach, S.C., recently inducted eight new members into the Lambda Kappa chapter of Delta Mu Delta, an international honor society in business administration chartered at Webster University.
The Myrtle Beach chapter is composed of students from the Myrtle Beach and Shaw Air Force Base (Sumter) campuses. Delta Mu Delta’s first induction ceremony at the Myrtle Beach campus took place in spring 2010. With the addition of these new inductees, the group is now 33 members strong.
Twice a year, the Myrtle Beach chapter holds a fundraiser on campus to raise money for the chapter, which goes toward purchasing honor stoles for new members to wear when they graduate. This year members worked at a Webster University booth at the May Air Show at Shaw Air Force Base.
The Myrtle Beach/Sumter Lambda Delta chapter of Delta Mu Delta looks forward to working with its members, school and community for another successful year at Webster University.
