Webster University Film Series presents Rock & Rule Thursday, July 5 at 8 p.m. in the lively atmosphere of Schlafly Bottleworks, 7260 Southwest Ave., Maplewood, Mo. There is ample parking and great beer on tap.

ROCK & RULE (Clive A. Smith, 1983, USA, 77 min.)
Mok, a wicked rock star kidnaps Angel, a female singer to force her to participate in the summoning of a demon; her rag-tag band must rally to stop him. A raunchy cash-in on the popular adult animated feature Heavy Metal. With original music by Lou Red, Blondie, Iggy Pop and Earth Wind & Fire, and additional voice talent from SCTV’s Catherine O’Hara and Maurice LaMarche, who found later success with his Orson Welles inspired The Brain in Pinky & The Brain.
Admission is $4; free to Webster University Students with Webster ID.
