Webster Vienna - Psychology Testing Workshop

Webster directors Maria-Regina Kecht, Arthur Hirsh, and professor Krista Rothschild welcomed Cambridge's John Rust for the Psychometrics workshop at Webster University Vienna.

From Thursday, June 21, to¬† Saturday, June 23, Webster University’s Vienna campus hosted a three-day workshop of the famous Cambridge Psychometrics Centre on Item Response Theory and Computerized Adaptive Testing.

The workshop was presented by the pioneer John Rust, the director of the Psychometrics Centre as well as the director of research in the Psychology Department at the University of Cambridge, along with his team of Michal Kosinski and Iva Cek – a former Webster Vienna student.

The international participants came from all over the world (from Australia to Finland and France and many other countries) to Webster for this special event. The audience included diverse interested people from undergraduate to PhD students as well as post docs, senior researchers and employees from assessment companies.

For those three days, Webster University Vienna clearly was the cradle of Psychological Testing.
With such cooperation, Webster is getting bolted into the future of developing psychological tests!
