Invitation: 2nd GCP Summer Collaboratory, July 18-20

Global Citizenship Breakout Session

A breakout session during the 2011 Global Citizenship Program Collaboratory

You are invited to participate in The Second Global Citizenship Program Summer Collaboratory.

For three days this summer, July 18, 19 and 20, members of our Webster University community will come together to learn from experts about high-impact practices and integrative learning, and to collaborate with one another about the many opportunities the GCP offers for us to develop a signature program for Webster and our undergraduate students.

Last summer’s event was attended by approximately 70 faculty and staff from departments across the Home Campus and from four international campuses. Participants learned both from external consultants and from our own experts.

As with last summer’s inaugural event, the three days will mix plenary presentations and workshops to focus on integrative learning and high-impact practices. Specific goals include advancing the development of the Global Keystone Seminars component of the GCP, making next steps in developing the curriculum, and planning for continuous improvement of the program

To register, visit: http://fdc.webster.edu/collaboratory.

A full program for all three days will be available shortly. I hope to work with many of you at the Collaboratory!
