Global Enrollment Management

Enrollment reps from St. Louis and around the world gathered at the home campus.

Admissions representatives from across the worldwide network of campuses spent a week at the Webster University home campus for a full menu of training, meetings and updates on initiatives taking place in St. Louis.

The annual Global Enrollment Management meetings are a great opportunity for Webster employees to learn from and present to their colleagues from Europe and Asia.

Among the highlights, Bruce Umbaugh and Scott Jensen from the Global Citizenship Program committee presented the unique new general education program that debuts for incoming freshmen in Fall 2012.

European admissions reps said the program’s holistic approach to 21st-century competencies presents another opportunity for them to sell the value of a four-year U.S.-style education to Webster prospects at their campuses.

On Tuesday, Webster’s Global Marketing and Communications (GMC) unit provided an update on the University’s website redesign — an overwhelming percentage of participants completed the design survey in May — as well as new branding creative work that will be rolled out when the new website goes live in October.

Bruce Umbaugh spoke about the new Global Citizenship Program.

Afterward, GMC hosted the Global Enrollment Management reps with snacks and a visit to their third floor of Loretto Hall, where they showed off expressions of the brand identity. (The tour was similar to that offered to ECAC in April.)

The GEM meetings continue through the end of the week.
