The Office of the Provost is pleased to welcome Jeanene George as administrative assistant to Provost Julian Schuster. In that role, she will be managing the day-to-day activities of the Office of the Provost, including handling the Provost’s calendar and working on a variety of projects for the office.
With more than 12 years’ experience in executive-level support and project management, Jeanene brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position. She comes to us from Emerson Process Management, Valve Automation, where she served as executive assistant to the company’s president. She holds a BA in business administration with a minor in information systems from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Coming to academia from a corporate background, Jeanene says she is very excited about the opportunity to apply her knowledge, skills and competencies to her new role.
“Webster has a warm and friendly team environment, with many unique opportunities for growth. Everyone I have met has been so supportive,” she says. “I am truly looking forward to being a part of Webster, where growth is on the agenda and dynamics and changes are a part of our daily culture.”
