2011 Community Days Parade

Please join the Gorlok baseball team in participating in the Webster Groves Community Days Parade Wednesday, July 4, and represent Webster University in this major community event.

The parade begins at 10 a.m., and this year’s theme is “Patriotic Webster Groves: Hometown USA.” Webster faculty, staff, students, alumni and their families are invited to march.

We’ll gather behind Webster Hall at approximately 9:15 a.m. before going together to the staging area, usually on the north side of Lockwood Ave., in front of Holy Redeemer School (341 East Lockwood).

Marching in the parade is fun and good exercise too! The route lined with enthusiastic revelers is approximately two miles long and takes about 70 minutes to walk or ride. This year we will be doing something exciting and different. More details to follow.

Please email Barb Ehnes at ehnesba@webster.edu or call 968-7174 before June 15 if you plan to march in the parade.
