Memphis spring faculty meeting

The Memphis campus held its annual spring faculty meeting April 14 with over thirty faculty and staff members in attendance.

Brad Wolaver, faculty development coordinator at the home campus, gave an informative presentation on plagiarism. Wolaver shared information about the Turnitin program, Refworks, as well as other resources available to faculty and students to discover and prevent plagiarism.

As the meeting closed, Carol Miles, Memphis campus senior director, presented awards to faculty members in recognition of 10 years of service to the University. Honorees Johnnie Green, Johnson Saulsberry, Deborah Camp, Harriet Browning and Margaret Ridings each received a premium paperweight and award letter from President Beth Stroble.
