Opera Studio Presents “Spring Scenes” April 20, 21

Webster University’s Opera Studio performs fully staged and costumed scenes under the direction of music professor Alice Nelson.

The April 20 – 21 programs includes scenes from: Dialogues of the Carmelites by Poulenc, The Barber of Seville by Paisiello, Sir John in Love by Vaughan Williams, The Pilgrim’s Progress by Vaughan Williams, The Mikado by Gilbert & Sullivan, Arabella by Richard Strauss and Hansel & Gretel by Humperdinck.

The role of Arabella is sung by Katherine Van Zandt, winner of the Webster Aria Competition.

Date/Time: Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21, 7 p.m.
Location: Community Music School, Room 10
