Next week, The Chronicle of Higher Education will survey 400 randomly-selected faculty and staff members asking why Webster University is a “great college to work for.”
If you are among those randomly chosen to participate, you will receive an email next week containing the necessary information needed to log your opinions and complete the survey. Both Webster and The Chronicle are eager to hear what you have to say.
Webster has had the distinction of being named a “great college to work for” every year since the survey’s inception in 2008. The survey consists of about 80 questions covering various workplace satisfaction topics including job satisfaction/support, compensation and benefits and pride. Completion is expected to take less than 15 minutes.
The results are typically released in late summer or early fall in the report, “The Academic Workplace.” This past year, Webster won special honors for its excellent teaching environment and for the clarity of its tenure requirements and process.
If you receive a copy of the survey, we encourage your participation. The survey period begins March 19 and runs through April 13. Visit the Chronicle’s site for more information about the survey.
