Vienna Hosts Conference on Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh Conflict

International relations experts and students discussed options in the Armenia-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Last week, the Organization of Azerbaijani Students (AAV) hosted a conference at Webster University Vienna around the theme, “Armenia-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh Conflict: 20th Anniversary of the OSCE Minsk Process.”

The March 5 conference aimed to focus the attention of the international community on this protracted conflict, reviewing negotiation processes since their inception within the OSCE format and suggesting possible ways forward for conflict settlement.

The conference panelists included a number of experts in international relations, including Javid Huseynov, president of the Azerbaijan-American Council, Vugar Seidov, political analyst for the Azertag News Agency, and Gabriel Lansky, lawyer, Lansky, Ganzger + Partner in Vienna, Austria.

The panel discussion was followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by Samuel R. Schubert, head of the International Relations Department at Webster University Vienna.
