The 2012 Annual Human Rights Conference: “Refugee and Migrant Rights” at Webster University explores the causes and consequences of human displacement, with special attention to promoting and protecting the human rights of refugees and migrants.

This conference brings together experts, scholars and students to examine how local, national, and global communities respond to the needs of refugees and those fleeing generalized violence, civil war, extreme poverty, or natural disaster.

Through lectures, expert panels, break-out sessions and films, conference participants can fully consider the range of challenges and strategies for managing a world on the move.
