Teaching Festival: Tune in for Extended Campus Presentations

The Faculty Development Center, in partnership with the Online Learning Center and Emerson Library, is pleased to announce that the 2012 Webster University Teaching Festival, Feb. 20-23, will include presentations from 40 faculty, staff, and students including three world premieres of presentations from campuses around the globe:

Tuesday February, 21 – 2 p.m.

Connecting the Academy to the Community: Students Building a Bridge through Service Learning

Beyond Academic: Adapting the Classroom for the Business World

Presenter: Cynthia Shaw, Adjunct Professor, Business Department, Louisville, Ky., Metro Campus

 Wednesday, February 22 Р9 a.m.

The 3R Approach: Teaching Academic Writing Through Roles, Research, and Reflection

Presenter: Lydia Wazir-Staubmann, Faculty, Webster University Vienna Campus

Presentation will be streamed live on the festival website, including watch parties in the Faculty Development Center (Emerson Library Rm. 420) at the Webster Groves campus. All times Central.
