Communications Portfolio Review Orientation

Associate professors Sally Howald and Gary Ford conducted an orientation session Feb. 2 for School of Communications students concerning the portfolio review process they are required to complete as part of their graduation requirements.

The portfolio review process enables faculty to gauge the talent, aptitude and potential of the students.

It also provides an opportunity to talk with students about their progress and make suggestions regarding program and career goals.

Portfolios are judged on both the quality and presentation. Faculty members consider accuracy, creativity, content and technical expertise in the work presented and enthusiasm and professionalism of delivery.
