Navy Honors Jacob at Webster Memphis

Congratulations to Jeffrey D. Jacob (PERS-43), adjunct faculty member at Webster University’s Memphis campus location, who was named Mid-Grade Civilian of the Quarter (1st Qtr) for 2012.

Jacob received a letter of appreciation from the Department of the Navy for “superior performance” in many areas, including “expertly coordinating the training of the Defense Travel System program for over 45 civilian and military staff,” as well as handling the annual Forward Deployed Navy Forces detailer trip to the Asia-Pacific Theater.

Webster Memphis reports that competition included “a very talented staff of superstars” who should all feel deep pride in their achievements and contributions.

A recognition ceremony was be held Wednesday, Jan. 25.
