Dec. 12: Sts. Peter and Paul Holiday Party

| November 29, 2011

Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?

It’s that time again! It’s time to help the less fortunate have a happy holiday season. By donating what you can to Peter and Paul Community Services, Webster will host a holiday party for the poor and homeless on Dec. 12 at the Peter and Paul Center, 8th and Allen in Soulard.

This year we will purchase McDonald’s gift certificates for the poor. They are always appreciated. If you would like to help, please write a check to Peter and Paul Community Services and send it to Mary Ann Drake, Webster Hall, Room 200. In addition to your financial support, we are also asking for new men’s socks, caps and gloves for Santa to hand out at the party. You can drop those off at Mary Ann’s office as well.

Ralph Olliges has graciously agreed to be Santa’s helper and will be decked out in a Santa suit to give these items out after dinner. Local Blues musician Bob Case, the husband of Francine Case in Academic Affairs, will be providing music for the party.

If you’d like to join in the festivities, come to the Peter and Paul Center, 8th and Allen in Soulard, by 5 p.m. on Dec. 12. Happy Holidays!
