• The San Diego Campus held an Alumni Networking Mixer in conjunction with Randy Noe’s Professional and Leadership Development Coaching Seminar team. The evening was a combined event that brought together some of Webster San Diego’s alumni and those executives who had gone through the coaching seminars that Randy and his team hold at the San Diego Campus. It was a time to network, reconnect, and meet new people. More than 30 people were in attendance and the night was a big success.
• The Denver Metropolitan Campus sponsored the first joint young professional’s happy hour mixer with the Castle Rock Stars, Greenwood Village Young Professionals (which former director Karl Sterner established in 2006) and the Young Professionals Network of Highlands Ranch.
Webster provided food and prize drawings for the event and had an information table. It was a great way to meet other young professionals from the surrounding areas and to get the word out about Webster University.
The Denver campus is starting a community cohort offering the MBA and MA in Management and Leadership at the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce in January 2012. As a new member of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, both the Chamber and the Stars have been very supportive of Webster University coming to Castle Rock, ranked No. 19 by CNN Money’s America’s best small towns as a Best Place to Live in 2011.
