Orlando’s Lambda Kappa Chapter of Delta Mu Delta inducted over 50 members this summer and held their first meeting and election of officers recently at Webster University’s North Orlando Campus in Longwood, Fla.

Heide Bostelmann Heider (MA Human Resources Management ‘11), was elected president. Heide is a learning and development/human resources management professional who has held leadership positions in the areas of Training, Organizational Development, and Human Resources in Fortune 500 organizations. She served as vice president of professional development for the Central Florida Chapter of ASTD and volunteers with CFHRA, the local SHRM chapter.

Patty Blotzer will receive her Master of Health Administration this year and hopes to pursue a Ph.D. with the goal of teaching at the college level. She earned a BA in Advertising/Public Relations with a minor in Business from the University of Central Florida. Patty is a corporate analyst in the Health Information Management Department at Orlando Health, a major hospital system in the Central Florida area.

Jack Nichols (Master of Health Administration ’11) received his BA in Political Science at the University of Central Florida. His work experience includes sales, marketing, program administration and business management. Jack is the former president of Wide Track Pontiac Club of Central Florida.

The next Lambda Kappa Chapter induction ceremony will be held May 11, 2012, at the Rosen Hotel in Orlando.
