Messing Faculty Award and Research Grants Submission Period

Professor Dan Hellinger's 2011 Messing Award helped a Webster delegation visit El Salvador to develop new international learning opportunities for Webster students.

Webster University’s Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President and Office of Academic Affairs are accepting faculty nominations for the 2012 Messing Faculty Award and 2011-2012 Faculty Research Grants.

The Messing Faculty Award is presented to a full-time faculty member for summer activity which will strengthen the curriculum of his/her department or improve the teaching/learning relationship. The Faculty Research Grant program’s purpose is to encourage and promote faculty research and professional development. Grant applications are invited for scholarly research, academic projects, artistic performances, exhibitions, and studies in any discipline.

The deadline for submissions for both programs is Monday, Nov. 21, 2011.
