GCP Orientation Work Sessions

| October 10, 2011

The Global Citizenship Program committee and the Faculty Development Center have organized a series of open sessions to help orient faculty members to GCP course proposal requirements, and to provide support and assistance for those who are revising existing courses for inclusion in the program.

If you can’t make one of these sessions, please contact one of the facilitators to schedule a time for you or your department.

I. Writing GCP Learning Outcomes

Working on turning your existing course into a course for the Global Citizenship Program?  In this collaborative, discussion-focused session, faculty presenters will share how they transitioned the student learning outcomes for an existing general education course to outcomes that incorporate the goals of the new Global Citizenship Program. Participants will have the opportunity for hands-on assistance, and are asked to bring their syllabi to facilitate discussion on these specific courses.

Thursday, October 13, 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
