This weekend and next (Saturdays, Oct. 1 and 8, 1 – 3 p.m.), Laumeier Sculpture Park will feature events that combine sculpture. poetry, performance and the outdoors in a series of site-specific presentations called “Poetry in Place: The Platforms.” Naturally, Webster University artists are a big part of the show.

Webster University was well represented at the 79th annual conference of the Speech and Theatre Association of Missouri, Sept. 22-24, at Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. The association unites over 200 speech and theatre educators, practitioners and prospective educators from throughout Missouri for over 40 workshops, papers and presentations.

The production investigates personal perspectives on life’s journeys through diverse and eclectic dance.
