Research & Writing Group Meets Sept. 20, Nov. 1, 29

| August 31, 2011

From Amanda Rosen, History, Politics, and International Relations:

The Webster Research and Writing Group began last spring in an attempt to provide faculty and staff a venue for ongoing discussion and critique of works-in-progress. Each month, we meet in the Faculty Development Center to discuss one or two pieces of work and provide feedback to the author. Our goal is to facilitate research, scholarship and other forms of professional development in an interdisciplinary environment.

Meetings this fall will be held Sept. 20, Nov. 1, and Nov. 29, from 3 – 4:30 p.m. in the Faculty Development Center (University Library, 4th floor), and we still have spots open for presenters. All are welcome to attend, and we encourage you to join our listserv, to be a part of our ongoing discussions.  We also gather informally on Fridays in the FDC.
