Webster University’s Colorado Springs campuses recently participated in the United States Air Force Academy’s (USAFA) annual base picnic at Falcon Stadium.

Activities such as a fitness run, bounce house for the children, muscle car show and live entertainment attract some of the 3,900 active duty personnel and families who are located at the USAFA.

Separately, the Colorado Springs Metro Campus recently hosted the Pikes Peak Chapter of the National Contract Management Association’s (NCMA) day-long Beginner’s Acquisition Training.

The training offered 20 procurement sessions given by Webster faculty members and other industry experts. The training was free and over 100 participants including NCMA members, Webster University students, government and industry contracting personnel attended.

The chapter president sent Webster a letter of appreciating acknowledging Webster as an outstanding community partner, whose support was essential for the event.
