Associate provost Nancy Hellerud was keynote speaker at the June 17 Delta Mu Delta induction ceremony for the Central Florida Region, the third to be held in Orlando. The dinner ceremony for inductees and more than 100 guests began with an introduction by regional director Tom Janke, followed by Hellerud’s address.

Lori Burbank, Orlando campus assistant director and Delta Mu Delta faculty advisor, presented 52 candidates for membership in the local Lambda Kappa chapter, bringing the total number in the local chapter to 112. Inductees were led in the Delta Mu Delta oath by faculty advisor Jeffrey Atwood.

Delta Mu Delta is an international honor society that recognizes the academic achievements of students in business programs at schools accredited by ACBSP. With each yearly induction ceremony, the number of Delta Mu Delta members with Webster degrees increases.

“This reflects well on our students, but also on the faculty and staff who work hard to provide a learning environment that leads to success,” said Hellerud.
