Brenda Thacker, an alumna with a degree in ancient studies, was featured in a June 6 St. Louis Post-Dispatch article on an archaeological dig taking place in downtown St. Louis.

Benjamin Akande, dean, Walker School of Business & Technology, was interviewed on KTVI-TV (Fox-St. Louis) June 2 regarding whether the U.S. economy is headed for a double dip recession.

Sports economist Patrick Rishe, associate professor of business, Walker School of Business & Technology, was interviewed June 3 by NPR’s “Morning Edition” and KSDK-TV’s (NBC-St. Louis) morning show, “Today in St. Louis,” on the St. Louis Rams football team. The stories concerned the team’s possible relocation back to Los Angeles and the current NFL lockout.
