The Webster University men’s baseball team must win today at noon after yesterday’s 10-1 loss to Salisbury College (Md.) in a second round match-up at the NCAA III South Regional May 19 at USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn.

After scoring 11 runs in first-round action, the Gorlok offense couldn’t get untracked against Salisbury starter Dustin Herbert.

Salisbury entered the contest as the number 29 ranked team in the NCAA III, with a record of 29-13. Webster falls to 32-12 with the loss. The Gorloks will face Piedmont College (Ga.), the #3 seeded team in the region, at noon today (May 20). The Lions are 32-14 on the season. If Webster wins, they will play Shenandoah (36-5) at 7 p.m. with a chance to continue to the final on Saturday. A loss will send the Gorloks home.
