Message from the President, May 2, 2011

| May 2, 2011

To the Webster University Community:

In light of recent events, I think it is important to emphasize one of Webster University’s core values. At each of our campuses throughout the United States and worldwide, we are committed to fostering diversity by creating an environment that is accessible and welcoming to individuals of diverse cultures, ages, religions, gender orientation, abilities and socioeconomic backgrounds and instilling in each and every one of our students a respect for diversity and an understanding of their own and others’ values. Webster is, and always will be, a welcoming institution that values differences.

I urge any member of our community who may feel the need to discuss recent events to contact Webster’s Counseling & Life Development Office at 314-968-7030.
