The School of Education is saddened to announce that Richard Ashburner, adjunct professor in the MA Special Education program, died Friday afternoon after contracting pneumonia. He was a retired special education teacher and inclusion facilitator with Special School District, and had taught our “Collaboration and Cooperative Teaching” course for the past 8 years.
