Webster Groves Campus Master Plan

| February 28, 2011

The University will engage in a comprehensive campus master planning effort for the Webster Groves campus. The University has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to several national firms to assist in the development of a 15-year master plan and a 5-year implementation plan for Webster University’s main campus.

The plan will guide the development of academic and residential facilities and infrastructure to support current enrollment and future growth and will be guided by and support the Webster University’s Strategic Plan, Vision 2020.

The process includes collecting and analyzing existing data, reviewing opportunities and constraints in the local community, offering alternative strategies to support Vision 2020, helping select the best strategies and alternative, drafting a plan for board approval, and helping the university gain public trust, support and understanding of near term (5-year) implementation of the plan. The planning process will involve faculty, staff, students and members of the Webster Groves community.

The proposals are due on March 14. We will keep the community informed of the process through updates in Webster Today.
