Webster University Humanitarian Conference

Around 30-40 students from other Webster campuses are expected to attend the 16th Annual International Humanitarian Conference, scheduled for January 27-28 at Webster’s Geneva campus. This year’s theme is “Humanitarian Space,” relating to the need for a safe environment in which humanitarian agencies can operate independently of external and often political agendas.

The renowned conference is organized by Webster’s International Relations Department, in close cooperation with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and held under the auspices of the Government of the Canton of Geneva.

A call for papers was issued in November. Visit the conference event page for more information, including the program, abstract, and registration forms.
