Audience discussion at the premier of "LaVena Johnson: The Silent Truth."

This month’s premier of the documentary film “LaVena Johnson: The Silent Truth” at the St. Louis campus stirred discussion about violence against women in society and in the military.

Part of Webster’s Year of International Human Rights 2010-11: Women’s Rights, the screening was followed by a panel discussion that included Johnson’s father, retired colonel Ann Wright, and the film’s director, Joan Brooker-Marks.
