Dean’s Service, Student Employee Awards: Call for nominations (St. Louis)

Nominations for the Dean’s Award for Service and the Outstanding Student Employee awards (St. Louis campus) for Fall 2 2010 are due Wednesday, Dec. 8.

The Dean’s Award for Service is an award given quarterly that recognizes Webster University students at the St. Louis campus for performing a valuable service on or off campus. This award recognizes students’ volunteer efforts in their campus student leadership roles and in community service off campus. Students can be nominated by any member of the Webster University community.

Nominations are due in the Dean of Students office by Dec. 8 for the Fall 2, 2010 awards. Please call 6980 if you have any questions or email Ted Hoef at hoeftl@webster.edu.

Outstanding Student Employee Award

The Outstanding Student Employee Award will be presented to up to four (4) student employees per term. The purpose of this award is to recognize individuals who work at a superior level to serve the department in which they work and Webster University as a whole. In order to be eligible, students need to have been employed in the department for at least three (3) months and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. Nominations are due to Liz Condon-Oakberg of Career Services, by Dec. 8 for the Fall 2, 2010 awards. Please call 7641 if you have any questions or email: econdon32@webster.edu.

Recipients for both awards will receive a plaque at a luncheon held to recognize their contributions. Nominators are invited to accompany their award recipient at the luncheon and say a few words about their contributions.

These awards are for students at the St. Louis campus only.
