Speakers included U.S. Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and author and newscaster Tom Brokaw. Many other professionals from both public and private sectors presented practical information on safety and security issues. A variety of academic institutions were represented at the event.
