United Way deadline extended

| October 12, 2010

Kathy Marlock, associate dean, School of Education, announces that Webster’s St. Louis United Way campaign deadline has been extended to Friday, Oct. 15, with all participants eligible for prize drawings:

Greetings Webster St. Louis Family,

Our university has enjoyed many activities these past few weeks which have required much time and attention from everyone. Thus, some have asked me if they may still contribute to Webster’s United Way campaign.

The answer is – absolutely! I’m extending the deadline to this Friday, October 15, 2010, so that all who have been unable to attend to this detail may still make a contribution. I have also notified our St. Louis United Way agency that we are still accepting contributions through the end of this week!

This coming Friday, October 15, 2010, at Webster, we will conduct prize drawings for those who have contributed to the United Way. Many, many special thanks go to President Stroble for supporting our special prizing drawings. Thank you, Dr. Stroble, for your leadership, support, and encouragement in helping us better our local communities!

To award our prizes, the selection process will be as follows:

  1. Everyone who has made a pledge to the United Way and whose contribution card has been received in my office by this coming Friday will be included in a Webster United Way prize drawing.  (Send cards to Kathy Marlock, SoE, WH232A).
  2. My name will be excluded from the prize drawing as is only right so there is no conflict of interest.
  3. A staff member from our School of Education will be invited to randomly choose three names.

Thank you to all who have already contributed to the United Way and to all who are contemplating a donation, however small or large! We have already exceed the number of leadership gifts made this year compared to last year!  Go Webster!

Individual donations are tax-deductible.

Kind regards to all,
