New European Directors Introduced in Geneva

Two new European directors: Bill Lynch, London Campus, and Jean Paul van Marissing, Leiden Campus, were introduced by Robert Spencer, director general, European Campuses, at a meeting for European and academic directors in Geneva April 12-13.

Lynch is a former faculty member in the Theatre department at the St Louis campus and also served as president of the Faculty Senate for four years. Before embarking on a career as a lawyer and academic, van Marissing served as a diplomat with the Dutch government.

Two visitors from the St. Louis campus attended the directors’ reception at the Geneva Campus Commons May 12: Paulette Schmidt, visiting professor, English; and Ray Holtmann, groundskeeper, Facilities Operations, a Global Staff Exchange participant.
