Transportation

Shopping Trips

We understand that it is difficult to get around town when you do not have transportation. The MCISA provides transportation to international students through scheduled shopping trips. Students are asked to use our online sign up form to request transportation assistance for shopping trips. Trips are scheduled to serve groups of students who are available at mutually convenient times.

We encourage our students to get out and explore St. Louis during their studies.

As you can see from the example image above, if I left campus at 11:58AM on July 9th, I could take the 56 Bus from directly in front of Webster Hall heading westbound and arrive at Global Foods Market in 20 minutes time. (By the way, Global Foods is one of the best international markets in our local area to find foods you might like from home! There is nothing better than finding your favorite snack or tea and sharing it with your new American friends!!)
