Fallfest ‘09 A Great Success

The Gorlok joins 50-year class's Friday night celebration.
“Homecoming & Parents Weekend 2009 was the most successful in Webster’s history,” says Billy Ratz, development officer, Alumni. “Over 1,400 alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends attended.”

The Fallfest events — new this year — brought hundreds of people to campus on a cold, rainy Friday evening. Attendees enjoyed a ferris wheel, bumper cars and other carnival rides and games sponsored by student organizations.
Alumnus Butch Thomas ‘83 entertained a crowd of more than 200 jazz fans at Saturday’s African-American Alumni Chapter’s Jazz Reception.

Bringing the weekend’s events to a close was Sunday’s Blue & Gold Brunch where President Beth Stroble shared her Webster Story with alumni and their families.
Ratz reminds everyone to mark their calendars for next year’s Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 24-26, 2010.
