Since coming to Webster University in the summer of 2008, Stacy Henning, director of counseling worldwide, College of Arts & Sciences, has worked on raising the standards of the counseling program.
“She is doing incredible work improving one of the biggest — if not the biggest — counseling programs in the country,” says Sarita Cargas, associate dean, College of Arts & Sciences. “Our counseling program is so lucky to have her.”

Barry Hufker, professor, Electronic and Photographic Media, recorded: “A Masterworks Christmas,” performed by the Masterworks Chorale and Orchestra at Saint Clare Catholic Church in O’Fallon, Ill., for broadcast on KFUO-FM; “A New World Christmas,” performed by the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis.; and produced “An Old World Christmas” for broadcast on KFUO-FM. Hufker’s CD, “Inspirations From England,” was released recently by Regent Records in Great Britain.
Bob Holden, adjunct professor, Management, was elected Chairman of the Midwest-China Association (MWCA), a non-profit organization fostering commerce between the Midwestern United States and China.

Jennifer Casady was nominated for the Employee Spotlight Award for “being at the front lines of preparedness for and battle with the H1N1 virus” at the St. Louis campus this fall.
The number of cases of the H1N1 virus peaked at the campus during the month of October, with 115 cases reported as of Jan. 28. Pandemic and Infectious Disease Information Web page
As a member of the Student Affairs’ sub-committee of the University’s Pandemic and Infectious Disease Committee, Casady offered helpful suggestions and solutions for dealing with the spread of the virus and handling the students who were ill.
