Kelly-Kate Pease Named Inaugural Manitoba Chair for Global Governance

Kelly-Kate Pease, professor of international relations and founding director of the Institute for Human Rights & Humanitarian Studies, has been named the inaugural Manitoba Chair for Global Governance, a joint position with the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba. Pease will serve her appointment in May 2013.

During this time, she will promote the study of governance issues relating to the United Nations and international law, especially human rights and humanitarian law, and international courts. She will also teach an intensive upper-level course that will examine international perspectives on global governance and give several public lectures.
