The cover of “David Clewell: Missouri’s Poet Laureate 2010-2012″
“David Clewell: Missouri’s Poet Laureate 2010-2012,” a program produced by Warrensburg, Mo., PBS station KMOS-TV, is now available on DVD.
The program, which aired earlier this year, features an extended interview with David Clewell, Webster University English professor and director of the Creative Writing Program, by KMOS staff member Mark Pearce. The interview is punctuated by clips of Clewell reading from his poetry at last year’s Montserrat Poetry Festival .
The festival was held June 5, 2011, at Montserrat Vineyards, Knob Noster, Mo. Pearce’s interview, also at Montserrat Vineyards, took place the following morning.
