Soldier-poet Brian Turner
April 13 poetry readings that were part of the 2012 Saint Louis Humanities Festival are now available for viewing on YouTube.
The poetry of soldier-poet Brian Turner and three Missouri veterans was showcased at the event, which took place in Webster’s East Academic Building. The readings were co-sponsored by Webster University and the Missouri Humanities Council.
Introductory remarks were by Webster President Elizabeth Stroble; Julian Schuster, provost and senior vice president; David Carl Wilson, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences; and David Clewell, English professor and Missouri Poet Laureate.
