Geneva Humanitarian Conference Focuses on Refugees and Armed Conflicts

Webster Geneva’s 17th Annual International Humanitarian Conference, held March 1 & 2 at Geneva’s International Conference Center,  focused on refugees and armed conflicts. This year’s conference had 36 speakers and 35 student volunteers; it drew an audience of 390.

David Carl Wilson, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, paid tribute to former Webster University president and Arts & Sciences board member Jacqueline Grennan Wexler, during his opening remarks. Mrs. Wexler died Jan 19 at her home in Orlando, Fl. Wilson commended Mrs. Wexler for her commitment to social justice, internationalism, and academic quality. (View Dean Wilson’s talk.)
