Webster University is much like the world it serves. On our campuses you’ll find students who grew up down the street and students who grew up around the world. Some of our students wear military uniforms and some wear business suits. Our students are from rural and urban communities. They reflect our ever-changing and global society. They are lifelong learners of every age, undergraduate and graduate students alike.  Webster students and the University’s 138,000 alumni are our co-workers, friends and neighbors.

Webster Works: The Campaign for Webster University is a comprehensive $55 million fund raising effort that will enrich the educational experience of Webster students in St. Louis and in the communities throughout the United States and the world where the University maintains campuses.

Webster Works will transform the way its students learn and work and further the University mission of ensuring high quality learning experiences that transform students for global citizenship and individual excellence.  To accomplish this, Webster Works will focus on three key areas of strategic importance:

Webster Works in the Classroom

Webster Works will address the need for new best-in-class facilities, considered essential to attract and retain talented students and faculty, and to create dynamic learning environments that emulate the real world.

Webster Works will address the strategic need for new facilities:

Webster Works for the Future

Webster Works will provide for students that will enroll in the years to come by increasing the number of endowed scholarships.  The stories of our students are remarkable, but perhaps even more compelling is the work our students plan to do with their Webster degrees.

Gifts to endowment are an enduring means for individuals to share their resources with future generations and help sustain the University’s mission in perpetuity.  Endowed gifts may support a variety of important initiatives including scholarships, faculty salaries and academic programs.

Webster Works will strengthen the ability of the Community Music School of Webster University to deliver its mission of providing outstanding music education and performance opportunities to students in the St. Louis area of all ages and abilities.

Webster Works for Today

Webster Works will address the current operating needs of the University through the Annual Fund, an important component that helps keep the annual cost of tuition affordable.  The Annual Fund supports important university-wide initiatives such as annual scholarships, and at the School and College level with activities that enhance student learning such as guest speakers, student and faculty attendance at professional conferences and study abroad opportunities.
